How Onboarding Works

Information Gathering
We use a couple techniques to determine if we are a good fit. The first being a conversation with the business owner or point of contact. If you are an established business then we will also want to look at your books before we decide it we are a good fit for your business.

Accepting Client and Assigning a Bookkeeper
After we have reviewed the business, we will contact you to let you know if we think we are the best fit for you and what the work would entail. You'll also be assigned one of our 2 bookkeepers and be given their contact info.

Access to Accounts
We will need our own logins to your accounts to be able to reconcile them against the information in QuickBooks and check for errors. To prevent any chance of "funny business" we ask that clients get us LIMITED access to your reconcilable accounts. I.E. view-only access to all bank accounts, loan accounts, and other liability accounts, like credit cards. This means we can see transactions and get statements but CANNOT move funds. This eliminates risk for both us and the client. If you have a POS system, we will also need access to that.

Starting Bookkeeping
Once we have access, we get started on your books. Don't be surprised if you hear from your bookkeeper to get some clarification every now and again. So long as we aren't waiting on any information to input into your books, you'll receive tentative financial statements from us at the end of each quarter.
Hourly Pricing
Get Straightforward Bookkeeping at $55/hour.
We invoice on the 1st for the previous month's work. Please note that, if you do not already have a monthly QuickBooks Online subscription, you will be charged for your QuickBooks Online subscription in addition to the hourly rate.
